I've unfortunately had this experience. I was fighting against an aggressive and fairly experienced opponent - also I hadn't trained in a long while. Essentially he went really hard on me, and I fired off a punch that nailed him in the throat, which earned him a trip to the hospital the next day. There were a few lessons to be learned from that incident. I'd like to think both sides came away with a greater amount of wisdom as a result. Colin, Traditional Taekwondo
